Yecla-Barahonda Crianza 2010 DO

£9.99 £8.54

This big, bold and fruity wine from Barahonda is elegantly produced using carbonic masceration techniques to ensure that it is not overly tannic for such a powerful grape grown in Southern Spain.

It is deep ruby in appearance with a complex nose of jammy flavours, cinnamon, and roasted chestnut notes that twist towards deeper tobacco and earthy aromas. It has beautifully concentrated fruit flavours with an appealing alcohol-acidity balance, and soft elegant tannins.  It has a long fruity and spicy finish. A perfect match for roast lamb, beef pies, or mature cheese.
