Barolo, king of wines, wine of kings. It is certainly one of Italy’s greatest wines. Barolo is traditionally full bodied, fruity, tannic with high acidity and ages well.

This Cerrati 2008 vintage is an excellent expression of the classic Barolo style. Bright ruby red with garnet hints and rim. It has a very intense nose displaying floral notes of wild rose and sage, ripe raspberry, syrupy cherries mixed with hints of clove and liquorice, leather, tobacco and a subtle background earthy note. The palate is powerful, savoury, mineral and full-bodied with a juicy texture and sweet tannins perfectly integrated in the structure. It has a long fruity and spicy finish.
